Current Research Projects
Recently I have been writing local histories of place. Places have spirits and stories in their own right. I do not believe places should be anthropomorphized, but the events and actors that pass across the stage of a place give that place a spirit and a character, if you will, a nature of their own. The history of place, for me, is a story of "passing through" time and space and leaving a mark of character that remains on the face of the locality creating and developing its spirit.
