Speech to Convince and Actuate

The Speech to Convince or Actuate is a persuasive speech designed to change your audience's mind about an issue and/or call them to some sort of action. This is the capstone speech of the course.  You should demonstrate your ability to choose and use the best techniques and strategies we have discussed and explored in the class.  This speech will be 8 to 10 minutes in length.  The organization and structure you choose should be appropriate to the topic and your specific purpose.  You are required to use visual aids in this speech, submit a formal outline at the time of your presentation, and include an annotated bibliography of the sources and citations you use to make your case.
