MCC will be sponsoring our 12th annual Model United Nations simulation for high school students
February 5th and 6th, 2010.
Our conference is a two-day educational simulation for High School students. We will simulate the General Assembly, Fifth Committee, IAEA, a G-20 summit, and the Security Council. The theme this year is "Humanity: Conquering the Great Divide."
A lunch and dinner will be provided. There is no school fee. A delegate fee of $30 is charged to offset food costs.
Country Selection begins September 11, your advisor will email all school entries together.
Dr. Dille will come to you campus to discuss research tips, policy statement requirements, and judging criteria. Program advisors should contact Dr. Dille to set up an appointment.
Deadline for 1st draft review submission is November 30. Professor Dille will review and return ONE draft per student if submitted by this date.
Country Packets must be completed and submitted by January 18. Only delegates who have a complete submission will be credentialed at the conference. A complete submission includes a policy statement for each agenda item and one resolution on one of the agenda items.
