The Champions of Veive. I am a champion of Veive. Kinda funny. I never feel like a champion. I've never won anything really. Wasn't on any school sports team that won any championship or title and all. Didn't really get any special awards in schools, I mostly got B's. I did beat these girls at an eating contest at lunch one time. The "popular" click of girls were gossiping about all the latest stuff going on, all the parties they were going to and all. So full of themselves. I was with my friends and we were just clowning around. We were makin fun of each other as we ate our chicken nuggets. I love those things. :) I don't remember what we were talkin about but we were just goofin off while ate our nuggets. Somebody mentioned something about bein full and couldn't take another bite cuz a bunch of us did so and kept eating more and more, going back up to the school counter windows for more. So that led to an eating contest, not one said out loud, but you could tell none of us at the table weren't gonna be beat. I guess the popular girls must have noticed this because they started yelling at us, and we just looked back with our faces stuffed with nuggets. The laughed at us too. That wasn't nice. Kara, one of my friends, ask what they were laughing at. They paused a second and then kept laughing. One thing lead to another and suddenly we were seriously scarfin nuggets, we weren't gonna let those snotty girls that think they're all "that" beat us. In the end I ate the most, I knew I woulda, I can eat nuggets forever. Even though I won, we all stayed longer than we was supposed to for lunch and got detention time. One girl tried to stick up for us, saying it wasn't out fault. She got detention time as well. I was sure she'd hate me for that. She didn't care though, as long as she wasn't locked up with those prissy girls. We talked while stuck in detention. She was Lani, who is now my best friend and has been since that day. Momma was not happy at all about the detention. The whole ride home Momma made me explain what happened while she was all quiet. It didn't feel all proud as I did before as retelling it to her. I didn't say much unless she asked a question, which she did a lot. That night went pretty normal, I did my homework and studying, ate dinner, then did my chores. Then Mom told me we were going somewhere. That's the last thing I felt like doing, but being in trouble cause of getting detention was bad enough, saying no to Mom would've been even bad too, and now that woulda been my death for sure. We drove in silence again. When we stopped, we were at a ice cream shop, my favorite ice cream shop actually. We went inside and Momma told me to get anything I wanted. I felt like I was being set up, like some cameras were hidden and all, so I got one of my semi favorites. What was this? a merciful last dessert? I've been grounded before so I ate my ice cream as slowly as I could, trying to taste its sweetness as much as I could. It was pretty futile though, as I couldn't help but wonder what was going on. After some catch up small talk, Momma finally spoke. Even though she wasn't happy how exactly I did what I did. She did like how I handled myself. it's something I'd have to choose to do often as a hero. I really perked up at this. She told me the ice cream shop was something my father would have done, if he was alive. That's something similar to what Kendal taught me about being a "champion of Veive" We weren't champions in a sense powerful beings, the most powerful of what we did, but more of representatives. Examples and motivations to and for people who feel/want to do the same but don't know how or unsure or doing so. It's odd having a God of Revenge as one's... God. I mean I was always taught that revenge is wrong, that its something a person does because they were hurt, and only wants to hurt the person who hurt them. But that's only if one is seeking to avenge one's own personal hurt, with no regard of who they hurt or what they do. What if that hurt we feel causes us to want to help humanity or people or a city or whatever? That they want to help something more than themselves. THAT'S what we're all about, as champions of Veive. We still want to avenge our own personal hurts, but we've made that fight a fight for the city as well.
B: My SG is Champions of Veive. Veive is the Etruscan god of revenge. You were gonna ask, huh? :) I know it doesn't sound very hero-like at first. But we in the SG see it this way: most of the heroes in the SG have some villain group that has affected them in someway. Like Hericane's home and people had been destroyed by the Rikti. So she's determined to fight them and anyone else who attacks Paragon City. So while their motives may be personal, their actions are more selfless. While my SG has pretty much faded to me and Onuris, it's still my home. Kendal, Tali and Pyro Kitty have pretty much moved on. Pyro stops in now and then but we don't team much. That's not too new for me I tend to solo myself. It'll most likely be the SG of mainly just me, with Onuris on here and there. Anyone is welcome to the SG, to have as a refuge for alts if necessary, like Cyber Tron. |

| Hey, there's me with the gang! Every time I go out in my team colors I always feel so special. I knew since I was 4 and when Momma told me about Daddy that'd be a hero like him, but not much else. I never imagined I'd be part of a team of heroes. Everyone in Paragon knows about hero teams. It's pretty hard to not hear about them in the news. I guess its not really really special that I'm part of one, but to me it is. It's something I never really thought about. We're all on the same team really, but it is very special to be identified as a member of a certain group. To be called on as part of the Champions, there's no way to really describe it. I love it, as much as I love my decision to do what I do. | |

Below is a picture of three of us right after one of us sat on an ambush mission to get a badge for the ambush, only to find that another group had done more damage to the ambush so they got the badge. We rested a bit to cool down, and I took the opportunity to snap a shot, in our SG colors no less! Heri's feelings on being in the SG are my own. I was part of 2 other SGs before this one. No one's fault, just people left, or stopped playing, and I kept having to find another bunch. Kitty was always nice enough to leave that door open. So when the last SG collapsed I found CoV my new home. From the beginning I've never assumed myself anything higher than a member. So when I found out recently that the others consider me a founder of the SG, it really feels good, to know that a group really isn't complete without you. I never considered myself a founder because I wasn't there when the SG was created, but I guess I've been around long enough that I've helped create who and what CoV is. So in that regard its pretty cool. From left to right: Kendal (best coordinator in our SG and game), Hericane (me), Pyro Kitty (best killer of mobs and debt getter extraordinaire! Kinda has a Black Panther going for the SG look doesn't she?) |

| Hmmm... I don't remember going out to a happy hour with everyone... oh... that's Herri up front, not me. I'll let her talk about this, since I have no idea what's going on... I wasn't there to do whatever the group did. I'll be just a minute. ::stands carefully and concentrates while teleporting Herricane beside her, wearing only her thigh high boots...:: | |
| Jordi!!! ::Heri covers her mouth in shock:: What's yer problem!??! I was gettin to know a new hero back there!! S-s-s-orry Em.. I didn't know... Warn me next time before you do that! ::Heri looks at her confused:: How? ::Herri looks back exasperated, raising her wrist and tapping her bracelet:: With these, remember? ::Heri looks down at her own bracelet and looks sheepishly back at Herri:: Oh. oh yeah. Sorry. No biggie. He chased me for hours before he caught me. And he'll prolly do it again. ::taps a few keys on her bracelet:: Do me a favor, babe. Toss me something to wear, will ya? Either that or strip outta yer suit too, and let's play a bit. ::Heri blinks and just stares at Herri for a moment:: Oh, yeah... ::disappears into a closet and tosses one of her jumpsuits at Herri:: Here ya go. ::catches the suit and struggles a bit as she puts it on:: Damn girl. How do you wear these? ::thinks to herself, Damn, she almost went for it that time. :: ::blinks at Herri again and thinks a moment, then shrugs:: I dunno, they fit me ok.. Ok, now what's going on? Oh the pics... oh yeah, no problem. I'll take it from here. Thanx Heri Berry | |

::looks a moment at photo and lets out a loud, long, and amused laugh:: Happy Hour. Lemme tell ya, there weren't no happy hour when we got there. Not the usual kind anyhow. It was happy in the sense that there were a MESS of Trolls in there, that stole all this stuff, including that Happy Hour sign, so it was sweet, sweet justice that I found the crooks who did so. Naledi and Ledovy and asked me to go along. Well, more like Ledovy did, Naledi doesn't talk much, but says enough when she does. I've heard those that are quiet all the time are screamers in bed, wonder if that's true of Naledi.. hmm. And twins... I've never had twins before... well, not twin girls anyhow. Even on that twins day special I did long time ago...Lotsa guys, no girls... ::shrugs:: Such a shame. Three's a crowd, but boy would THAT a be a frickin good crowd. Don't think I'll get a shot anytime soon. I've tried everything I know that usually works, on both guys and gals. And when yer easy as I, and they still don't seem interested, its going to be a LONG lonely night. Where was I? Oh yeah... So the twins invite me along... which I was really excited about 'caused maybe that meant they would finally open up to me, but then I remembered how they'd turned me down over and over so I was about to forget them. But Heri and Kendal advised otherwise. They're cold, but not impossible. They've had a troubled childhood, so they just take longer to warm up to people. OoOoOo I sense a challenge. Cool, I can dig that. Just have to wait them out, they'll come around. Heri and them all have a point, I have seen them get friendly with one another, so its gotta be possible that other people can flip their switch. It's pretty freakin cool that they're all free and all to be friendly with each other, bein sisters and all. Havin a sister would be awesome, especially on the gets ya like the twins do. Two Herricanes. Double your pleasure ;) ::looks momentarily confused and thoughtful:: I wonder if the sistery love thing is a European thing. Because of their.. umm.. their... dammit... what were they again? Russian? nah... they don't drink vodka, not that I've seen. Polish? nah... they aren't very dumb... Swedish? nope, two pretty quiet twins, not a set of twin blonde bombshells. Hell, I can't remember, they're European, which is good enough, right? ::suddenly looks very upset and yells at someone looking at her and the picture of the twins:: Hey! What's yer problem!?! Don't you say that about the Devkas! Just cause you don't like what they do don't mean they're doin anything wrong! I'll admit it gives me the creeps about it too. I wouldn't do anything like that with my sister. Ew. I can't anyway, since I don't have a sister. But even if I did, we still wouldn't do anything, prolly since we'd both be too busy partying. But even then if we weren't we still wouldn't do nuthin. But that's me. The twins should and can do whatever they want. Y'all are lovin it up when two farm girl sisters from the the mid west are pretty cozy together, so it shouldn't be a problem with the Devkas, right? Right. Whatever the deal, they're pretty cool, literally they are. Their super powers are ice based. And lemme tell ya folks, these gals put Iceman to shame, k? They should be called Icewoman er Icewomen.. or something.. After watching them unload on those Trolls, I'm not really sure why I was there, they really didn't need my help. I did have some fun though. I doubt any of us will have Troll problems any longer. But it was just unreal. Naledi just sat there half the time in her ice shells while the Trolls had problems standing up with all her ice around her. And Ledovy was just inhumanly cruel freezing them stiff. Or was it Ledovy in her ice armor and Naledi freezing them? Hell, who knows, all that seems to matter is they ain't a pair ya wanna mess with. The gal sittin on the makeshift Lazyboy is Acacia Brooks, or Acacia to most of us. Acacia is.... different. I dunno what to make of her. Somehow she's able to change her looks and stuff. She's pretty easy going but the ability to change into other people personally creeps me out. I mean, depending on the person, they could really use that to look like anybody and really do some bad stuff. Acacia doesn't seem like type to do so far though. Pretty fair sport about it really. I know that personally. The first day I met her she was lookin like that harem hero girl... umm... whatser name again? Sera something... Serafina! yeah! the dancer babe. There we go. Anyhow yeah Acacia is dressed up like her. I really didn't think she looked much of a superhero, but what did I know? After briefly meeting her I dashed out to answer a distress call, something about a giant Clockwork rampaging around Kings Row. Excuse me, but whenever a "giant" Clockwork is called on, they're ALWAYS rampaging around. They don't exactly walk around politely. Oh no... its always rampaging.... around the Faultline, Skyway City, wherever, etc. Anywhos, after that little crisis was taken care of, had no idea clocks came in such huge numbers, Acacia radioed me to meet her down in Crey's Folly, as the Freakshow were getting outta hand down there. I swear this hero stuff is non-stop. Sure is fun though! Anyhow, I'm cruisin through Brickstown on my way to meet Acacia, and then I see her just standing on a street corner. I land next to her, looking around for some insane Freaks, maybe she didn't know where she or they were. Just some suspicious Crey meeting down the block, but otherwise it was clear. I looked at her for some sort of clue, and all she was doin was handing out some magical trinkets to the superheroes that came to speak to her. She gave me some amulet, which I pocketed, thinking I'd figure out what it was for later, and asked what the deal was. She mentioned some tale about her bottle, and then I was really getting tired of her. Then suddenly one of the heroes nearby having difficulty with the trinket he was given asked her a question, he called her "Serafina." I was like whoa whoa whoa... Who's Serafina? Aren't you Acacia? And then a light bulb lit as Serafina smiled through her veil and explained who she was. Looking stupid and puzzled as ever, I apologized to Serafina and everyone there and bolted off to Crey's Folly. Was one of those days where I REALLY wish I picked a mask for my costume. To make things worse, when I reached Acacia in Crey's she had the oddest look of confusion as she stood waiting next to an abandoned power plant building. After explain my ordeal with Serafina, Acacia laughed, and then shifted to look like Ms. Liberty. NOW I understood what was goin on. I sure as heck as knew who Liberty was. A few days after I got my superpowers I didn't know exactly where to go or what to do. But I remembered watch on TV that heroes were always makin reports and speeches and stuff at City Hall. Ones I never bothered listening to because they never had anything to do with me. Nice move, eh? Anyhow, so with no better idea, I flew to City all in Atlas Park, and there I ran into Ms. Liberty, already there helping out some "new" heroes. So yeah, Acacia is a shape shifter. Like I said, its freakin weird to watch her change looks right before one's eyes, but ya get used to it. No biggie and all. |

One would think that a city like ours with heroes all over the place so much
for so long that they wouldn't be all that special. Sure they'll still make
the news, and all, but you'd think after a while people would expect them to
be there as much as they
expect anything else in their daily lives. I kinda did. Heroes have been
here so long that I see them flying in the sky more often than planes. So I
never thought much about them, unless one was hot, or another interrupted
me, or something like that. Long as I can keep partying, they can keep
saving people or flying around or whatever. Then one freaking accident and
now I'm one of 'em. Who or what decided the party girl should go be a hero
is pretty nuts if you ask me. Pretty fun though. You haven't seen fast food
until you've called it in, flown across town and back home to eat it within
a few minutes. Still, there's gotta be other people who want it more than I
do. Like policemen and doctors. Guess that's why heroes are
still "amazing" to everyone here. I mean, take this bunch for example. There's me, just a party girl that got superpowers, a famous pirate lady from the past, and an assassin looking to kill the leader of the Tsoo. We all use whatever we have for the good of the city and all that hero-ish stuff, but... last I checked we ain't the usual hero material. That's like a Galaxy Girl, or an Atlas. Yet we're heroes, due to what we do. You know me and my story. The mean looking masked girl near me is Anne Bonny. Very headstrong and determined. Doesn't seem to take much lip from anyone, nor does she give them much slack. We've butted heads on this a few times. A girl needs her downtime y'know? And sometimes those times have come during when we're supposed to be out and about. I love this city but I need my rest too. So I'll take it when I can nab it. Not with Anne around. Seems to like to remain honorable to her code. In a similar way that chicky girl does in her own special way. ::shrugs:: Suits me just fine if they wanna. Seems a bit restrictive, but its their life. Anne's a bit of mystery, besides just her ways of going about her business. When I mentioned who she was from a curious reporter, they told me Anne Bonny was a famous female pirate that has been presumed dead. She disappeared without a trace one day, so people assumed she died on the high seas. What a buncha bull. The reporter guys on crack. Cause Anne was standing right next to him and me. He pointed out that Anne did seem "out of place" in her clothes, and that she did have a mysterious powers about her. Got me thinkin, so I went to look into this Anne Bonny pirate character, Turns out the new dude was right. While making a late night visit to a librarian, hey, there's more than one way to serve one's city, alright?, we did some research and found info on this Anne Bonny. So..... if that's the case, who's the chick that I've been hanging out with? Is it some mystic who's channeled her? Or some nutcase who thinks she's Anne,? ::laughs:: Great, just what the city needs, a psychotic superhero. Or could she really be Anne Bonny from long ago? How the hell do you freakin tell something like that? And if Anne ain't enough of a trip, check out miss Matrix wannabe girl. That's our "Miss Ninja" girl. Least what I call her. She's got a name but I never understand it when she says it, so she's the ninja chick to me. Very honorable with her own set of personal code to live by. She's from that completely crazy cult of ninjas, the Tsoo. Funny, she don't look it. I coulda swore every time I ran into those jerks they're tattooed up to hell. Maybe female Tsoo get a break from that? ::shrugs:: Whatever, she's got a beef with the head Tsoo guy. She's related to him, and doesn't like the way he's ruining the "noble" honor of what the Tsoo used to be. Pardon my French, but the Tsoo ain't got nuthin for honor. If honor to them is taking whatever "powerful" artifact that the City currently has by whatever force, and will kill or kidnap people to do so, that's a bunch of garbage honor. So I dunno what chick-y dear is trying to get back. She does seem intent though. More than one Tsoo has seen her sword firsthand, so I guess she's for real. Kinda reeks of that whole overused "you killed my master and now yer gonna die" type of stuff, but hey, its her life. She's plenty free to go about it, just so long as she don't do anything stupid. |

| Now this is the look that I'm used to with Lil' Miss Ninja. And we're both color coordinated to boot! Uh oh, there's an officer walking up to us. I better get going and talk to the guy. I used to mess around with their police drones before my superhero gig so they might still remember that. If you don't hear from me again, you'll know why. Any kind strangers are welcome to bail my busted butt outta jail. | |

| ::sighs a relief:: Whew, just a local cop lookin for a photo op with a few heroes. Or just with me or Ninja girl there, I dunno. Some love seeing her sword to death, and act like I'm not standing there. Others run up to me and try to get my attention and wouldn't budge for Slasher girl there even if she cut them in half with her sword. ::shrugs:: People are weird, whether yer a hero or not ::giggles:: | |

| ::lounges on a circular platform in front of a fire pit in Veive's base. looks at the entrance and is startled at someone looking at her. :: Oh! Hi folks. Ya caught me in one of my favorite spots in our base, so nice and warm and cozy, perfect for some nighttime interludes. Although I usually don't have an audience. ::laughs:: ok, so maybe sometimes I do. Actually lots of times I do ::laughs some more:: But its usually a certain crowd... but.. if you wanna stick around when my guests get here you're.... ::sits up as she sees Herra finishing up some exercises in the base's dojo and starts walking down some steps into a small magic sanctum. Herri excitedly waves her over:: Joey! ::Herra looks over startled at Herra:: Oh, hey Em.. Hey baby doll, come over here for a sec! Uhhh... that's ok Em, I still haven't finished reading the Kama Sutra yet, so I'm not sure I could join you and your... "friends" yet. ::she points to the magic sanctum where she was initially headed:: I can go read up on it now though.... ::Herri laughs and waves her off:: No no, I don't mean that. ::she points to you observing her and Herra:: we have a few guests, and can't really entertain them at the moment. Ya mind doin it? Thanx, babe ::Herra starts to answer but does so, Herri race out of the room into her own quarters:: Actually, I had plans to.... I guess I'll stick around here. ::Turns and faces you:: | |
| B: Just a note... I used Heri's text coloring for Herra above since her white lettering wouldn't have worked. | |
| ::Herra looks at you and smiles cheerfully and waves:: Hi there! My name's Herracane, and I'll be your host for a while until Herri or someone else from our group wants or is able to keep you company as host. Herri should be back in a little bit. From what I've seen about her personal gatherings she holds, she and her guests don't take very long. And even if they do I'll remain as your host during your time here at our very comfy group base! ::taps at her mouth as she appears to be thinking hard about something:: Hmm, ok I guess a tour of the base would be in order, right? If you'll follow me, we'll start.. Oh, you've visited here before? Oh, ok... I'll find something else for us to do then... ::thinks hard again:: I'd go over our latest mission debriefings, but Kendal likes to lead those, so I'm not at liberty to do that. Although, why don't you follow me, and I'll let you take a peek at my personal files of some mission that have been analzyed already, ok?. ::Herra leads you pass some couches and a holodisplay emitting the rotating laurel wreath Champions of Veive logo, and and down the hallway, where the walls are lined with three large database machines. She walks up to one and taps at a screen built into the databse hardware and pulls up a set of photos and moves slighty to her right so you have a good view of the screen:: | |
|
I was really excited when I was sent on this one. That's not true, I'm usually really excited on everything I'm sent on! ::smiles goofily and giggles:: I'm always willing to go out there and fight for my country, and there's no better way to do that that to help others do that, so when I get to make it easier for the other Heris with that it's really the best. But yeah, I was a bit more excited on this outing because I wasn't with the Heris. Thta kinda sucked because we're like inseperable. Ok, not really, but we really go well together. But that's cause we're Heri's Heroes! We just so get one another that we're a well oiled machine. ::giggles:: Herri likes that phrase alot. So but anyway, when we go out, most of the time its as many Heris as possible, or at least we go with each other since we know each other like we know ourselves. Which we kinda do, since like Heri says, we're really each other, just not each other, you know? Anyhows, this is a rare "Heri" moment where we're paired up with some of the other Champions of Veive members. This time around there wasn't much choice. I had a presentation I was making at Paragon City University. I was delivering a lecture during a speaker series of former students on relevant topics that the current the current students would need to know as they faced life once they got out to it outside the school. It felt great to see the school again, and my old professors, and to motivate students like several other heroes and guest speakers did when I was attending. Nothing is better than making them feel what I felt! ::beams:: As I was coming back to Champions of Veive's base, I was about to get my suit and go fight for the city, when Kendal called me into the "war room." There was something going on with some Freak attacks. I was about to turn it down because I had to catch up with Heri, but they had already left to deal with a staged attack on the reactor, and I was needed here. I was sad that I wouldn't be helping Heri, but how could I refuse helping my other group mates? So I went as I was, still in my civvie digs and met up with the two who were lookin into the Freaks, Gwyneveive and Fire Wind. Unlike the other Heris, with exception of Lady, I'm slightly familiar with the others in our group because I read the team roster manifest. Only Lady has them more well read than I do. As Herri says, that girl needs to GET OUT. I'm one for letting anyone do what they want as long as its legal, but boy, she really keeps to herself and just reads up on nothing but military tactics and supergroup protocols. She does seem happy in what she does, so I'm happy for her. She does some weird stuff though, at times when I'm doing some research on something that's puzzled me about somebody we've stopped but there's been something not right, she'll be arriving back, and have some new devices with her, and she'd walk them into our lab and then she's start working on them, all animated. Animated for her anyway ::giggles:: Lady's known for being a pretty rigid, boring military girl. Compared to the rest of us, most people see her as kinda stick in the mud, you know? Since she talks with a larger vocabulary and when she does go out, its not to get out and relax out at the dance clubs or the bookstores or a parks. Lady tends to spend her time in the parks, or out on the skyscrapers in Steel Canyon. The parks sound refreshing, just getting away and resting. The skyscrapers I'd think would get boring after awhile, but she seems happy when she's there. I've done a few of my patrols while she's cooped herself up high, and I've never seen anyone so sated by just sitting on a corner. So, even though she doesn't have fun the way the rest of us do, Lady's just like the other Heris . We all want to have fun in our own way, we just do it in our own special Heri way. And in the end, we're all better for it, and ready to help protect the city, together or individually. ::she smiles warmly, as if thinking about a wonderful memory:: Anyhows, back to Gwyn and Fire. I'm sorry about that tangent, Lady's always misunderstood, and I feel bad about that so I wanted to make her more likeable. Ok, back to Gwyn and Fire, again. ::giggles:: Gwynevieve has a similar history to me and the Heris. We share a commonality that we're all alternate identities. Even Heri can be considered one, we just all managed to group up where she was the focus. It's arguable that if we all found our way to Lady's Aldanas, we'd be known as the Ladys ::giggles cutely:: Hmm, I womder if we would've turned out to be more military inclined. ::shakes her head as she realizes she's gone off topic:: Back to Gwyn. Gwynevieve is the daughter of another of our group mates, Wendy. Yet Gwyn is nearly the same age as Wendy. This is possibly because Gwyneveive's mother Wendy is 18 years older than our Wendy in another dimension. Thus the commonality to the Heris. Gwyn seems to be a hothead, but luckily in our case literally. Hera is one hothead for us all already, no need for another. Back to Gwyn. She grew up in a Paragon City where the Hellions went a bit more unchecked and weren't just the lower rungs of the Outcasts and the Warriors of their Paragon City. In addition to their overunning or Atlas PArk and Galaxy City, they were on fo the first gangs to get their criminal foot in the door, so to speak, in Peregrine Island. From there they just rose in numbers due to little opposition, and history is history. Their history anyway. Luckily in good 'ol Paragon City here they're more of a nuisance, that needs to be kept in check. She ended up here due to a Portal. I still wonder about that about all of who ended up on this Earth. I mean if we got here there's gotta be a friggen way to get BACK there.... ::quiets a bit and thinks of Lady a minute:: Omigosh... that's what Lady has been doin.... all that time in the lab.... all those tears. ::light bulbs:: All that time just hovering over Steel Canyon, she wasn't just watching over it to keep it safe.... she was longing for home... The poor thing... Back to Gwyn... oh boy do we gotta keep fighting.... gotta let Lady do what she does, so we can all go home... In the meantime... Gwyn's been helping us do that well, when I met up with them at her and Fire at this warehouse where some Freaks were already going at some Nemesis soldiers. To be honest I was there just more as insurance. Gwyn kinda roasted them before they could respond really. She's really hot that way, as Herri would put it. ::giggles:: Fire Wind's pretty hot as well. I think Herri should go along with these two in the future ::giggles:: Fire used the fire to keep them all confused and busy, and brought along these cute little monkeys on fire. Between that and Gwyn they just burned the Freaks plans down in a hurry. Oh, there was one big Freak leader that wouldn't go down easily though. Fire had to resort to her second specialty, she can manipulate the winds as well as Heri. Kept that Freaky all wet. Didn't stand a chance really. Kinda felt sorry for him but thats what criminals get, you know? |

| We really had some difficult customers here. Those Freaks didn't take too kindly to us steppin into their business, so they tracked us down when we met with the owners of the warehouse that they and Nemesis trashed. I had to use my force field bracelets a lot more this time around. Still, just with only that done it was just the same as before. Gwyn and Fire toasted them up really good. They're pretty good at that. ::smiles and giggles:: | |

| But yeah, I'm glad Gwyn and Fire are around, that gives Lady and I some more time to research the Portal readings so we can find a way to at least get a few of us back home. ::thinks of Lady hovering over Steel:: I feel like goin to the uni, to get away from this a bit like Lady does..::sees Herri walk out, dressed only in a red bra and panties:: Em! good timing! ::Herri laughs as she walks out snickering at someone in the room she just exited, and then looks at Herra:: Hey Herra Berra! ::she does and usher arm movement towards her room:: Ya ready to join in on the fun? ::Herra shakes her head and answers while she dashes out of the base:: No, no, I need to go to the university, Ill be back in a bit ok? Watch over the guests, ok? Thanks Em! ::Herri opens her mouth to object but closes it as Herra is gone before she can say anything. sighing, she looks back at you, then down at herself then back at you.:: Hey you again, I guess I'll keep ya company for a bit. Can ya be a dear and wait outside for a moment, I'll just go change and take care of my guests, then I'll be right out. Thanks honey ::Herri disappears back into her room:: | |
| B: Again, like Herra before I had to switch colors so Herri's words would show up. | |
| ::outside the base portal way, Herri steps out and materializes, back in her red and black jumpsuit top:: Hey there. Sorry for bein a bad hostess and all before. Just had some girl business goin on that I had to attend to and all. You understand, right? Thanks cutie. What say I give ya an official tour of our base, sound cool? And if yer good I'll give you a very personal and up close and detailed tour of my room. ::licks her lips:: So c'mon y'all, come and see our own hangout.. | |
| B: Base went through a redesign after the last set of pics were taken, so the previous ones are gone, I'll hopefully have some up again | |
