Lady Wherl's first commission, in the huge all out fight between the Hericanes and the Wherlwynds known as "Clash of the Titanesses" drawn wonderfully by the uber-talented Alex (link to it on his dA page here). He called it that as I didn't have any group names for the Heris or Wherls and it seemed to fit. They aren't immensely powerful as titanesses, but seeing them in a massive fight like this, they certainly seem like it.  I really lucked out on piece that is so well done. Due to the cash I had, I had originally commissioned individual single character pencil sketches for each. Now as much as I know Alex would have done them justice, them not colored would've been so well. I'm glad I placed that forum post asking about the story. He said he thought he could do this justice, and that he did, in spades.

Lady Wherl is another big point of how Alex knocked it out of the park. When fitting the initial layout for all the characters, who would go where, etc, the two Lady's was the hardest. Wherlwind and Heracane smackin each other was close, but after I saw his sketch of Wherl takin it hard from Hera being choked that was a no brainer. This one was still harder. I could have had Lady Wherl viciously firing a blast at Lady Heri, with Lady Heri heroically dodging the blast, arms at her side, bent up at the elbows, fists balled, looking regal and heroic. As cool as that would have looked, I wanted to balance out the scene, as the villains were on the short stick. Herri's toying with Wherrlwind's bots. Herra is safe within her bubble against Wherrlwynd, and While Wherlwind has Heracane in a chokehold she's getting decked hard. So we went with Lady Heri firing valiantly at Lady Wherl here. But as valiant as she tries, Lady Wherl evades the parting shot with a devilish grin, as to spite, mock, and taunt Lady Heri. Her whole body language conveys her aura of self believed superiority. Added to this is Alex's awesome attention to Lady Wherl's detail. I'll admit I was paying attention to this one, as she's got the difficult pattern along with the chains. It wasn't mean to be hard, but that's the costume that represents her. And Alex nailed it.  The baroque patterns, on her back, sides and fronts, with the complex mesh look. to the patterning of the chains, to the even in scene detail of Lady's hair bun ribbon flitting forward as she glides over Lady Heri's beam.

Lady Wherl's first commission where it's just her, and it shines, just as she shines. And that's thanks to baquitania (seen here on his page) and his talents. Her costume details are spot on, especially more so of the cape, which Alex above didn't have to draw much of. Here you can see the whole gothic/baroque detail and its well as done as the rest of the costume. The free flowing fair is a nice deviation from her usual look, gives more energy and movement. Her pose and the energy stream and energy clouds around her display how much power she can control if she wishes.

And this little gem is from Joule from the COH boards.  She was doing an art trade a while back and I chimed in that I'd participate if I had any art skills at all, and suddenly I got this free gift sketch of Lady Wherl. Very kiddish, but it's incredibly detailed and its all Lady Wherlwynd.

A take by paneseeker on Lady Wherl. He nailed Lady Wherl's personality on the head, dominating and commanding. Details on her costume are pretty accurate, albeit more simplistic that the actual costume it fits his style. The background of space its pretty nice as well, as she's fully alien.
