The Mirror. The barely understood one. Click the Info window below for stats/back story summary |
Og. Me Not Herzarro. ::laughs:: Naw... just kiddin. I'm Enacireh, but you can call me Ena. Everyone else does. People here say I'm Heri's opposite. How come I'm HER opposite, why isn't she mine? So my colors are exactly opposite hers, and my name mirrors hers. If I mirror her, doesn't she mirror me equally the same? Yep, she does! But I know, they knew her first, this is her world, and they've seen her save people before I have, so I HAVE to be her mirror, instead of her being mine. Still isn't fair. But heroes are called to a higher level of being I guess, so I'll try to stay at that upper level. Being half-numah, half anadlanian, I would have been a Yankee in King Arthur's court, as your Mark Twain put it. Combined with a Kheldian to become what I am now, a Peacebringer, makes me even more out of place. I don't mind. Solar Burst, has more than generous to have offered her services to me when she barely knew me or my intentions. I am sorry that my alien nature limits her and my full abilities. Other Peacebringers can summon alien forms of old and protect the city better than I can. But I'll do what I've been given. As a mirror of Heri, or she of me, I will do what we both have vowed. To stop those aliens who attempt to harm this great city.

B: Ahhh my Peacebringer, this was a fun character to develop a believable back
story for. I came up with the name while
one a team with Heracane, my evil Heri. I cursed myself for not of
thinking this backwards rendition of Heri's name... it still makes sense
backwards, pretty cool I thought. My SG mate that I was with at the time
suggested that still make a "mirror" version of Hericane, and that
she doesn't necessarily have to be evil, just a mirror version of
Hericane. I did kind of cheat on that regarding her powers. I wasn't sure
what would be the mirror of gravity or storm based powers. So I cheated,
she still had similar powers, but she found them gone when she entered our
world. But since she's a Peacebringer that doesn't matter all that
much. Deciding to make Ena a fully human PB, I wrote into the story
that whatever stripped her powers away also prevented her from forming the
Nova and Dwarf Kheldian forms. Ok more slight cheating, but its more than
just "because I didn't want to pick them since I didn't have to"
^_^ Regarding her personality and quirks, Ena doesn't differ much from Heri. Actually not much at all, she's not a moral mirror as in a being evil to Heri's good. Just Ena's world is a mirror, everything is opposite. Black is white, go means stop, big is little, etc. Ena still uses the planets forces as Heri uses gravity, but its just considered a force, something that pushes upon other things. Ena is still a master of manipulating it as Heri does gravity. Ena's quirks after willingly merging with a Kheldian produced an interesting Peacebringer. The Kheldian was already a headstrong warrior, ready to take on the Nictus and anything else here, and Ena was backwards, relative to most humans here. Generally Ena tends to stick to business when in the midst of a battle, for she and Kheldian know what needs to be done. Out of the fights, Ena is a unique Peacebringer, mildly confused due to being alien and from a world that is backwards to ours. Her mirror biology seems to had a interesting effect on the merged Peacebringer. For unknown reasons it prevents her from assuming the Kheldian Nova and Dwarf forms. So Ena is forced to remain in human form. Due to this effect, she has more control of in tempering the Kheldian when it longs for battle. |

Here I am, the standard look for my home. To me its very normal and plain and boring. Here I get odd looks, and raised eyebrows, and some that are hesitant to talk to me, even among the superhero population. It's kinda cool to be special that way. My pink hair is the norm at home, but everyone here has yellow and brown and black hair. Still, I'm not sure why I get the strange looks. Heri has green hair. Green, pink, they're both different, in the same way. Maybe they're used to seeing her? That even though she's different, they've come to known that difference, or know that she's not a threat? That they feel safe when she's around. ::smiles:: That's a good feeling. Guess I'll just have to wait until they've seen me enough as they have her.
B: As you can see. Enacireh's costume is a mirror of Hericane's all the colors are the exact negative of Heri. At first I did usual contrary complimentary but found when I accidentally highlighted a screen of Heri and it inverted the colors I had originally picked were not the right colors, close but not right. So now they are, despite her black and yellow bumblebee or banana color scheme and cotton candy-ish pink purple hair. :) |
Hmm, I think I could get used to
this look. I'll admit I was a bit hesitant to wear it. Resistant is more
like it really. But any real protests seems to be futile (Resistance,
futile... ok bad joke) as all the other Heris have given in to wearing this
look. Started by Herri, the rest of the lot have up and found a look that is
similar to it but displays their own angle on it. Sort of like a group
uniform, to show that we're all Heri. Odd gesture, since its pretty
obvious we're all Heri, but nevertheless, I felt more foolish looking by not
going with the flow.. so here I am.
B: In keeping consistent with the theme of the Penthouse Heri look, Ena has hers, but in her own unique way. Just as with her first costume, its also a mirror image of Heri's color scheme. To me its kinda sense of pride to display this look. To the point that when I'm in SG mode, in order to get prestige to eventually make a base that's even just barely equipped, I keep her in her normal colors, but turn the SG logo on. I dunno why.... the Penthouse Hericane look, and the personality of Heri that exist in each Heri... just makes each Heri more special to me, especially when people recognize the various Heris and ask me if I'm Hericane :) |

Lemme guess, ya expected me to be in Heri's cowgirl look but the opposite colors, right? ::laughs:: I don't blame you none. I almost wore that. except what she was wearing looked pretty good lookin. So I stuck with it. No need to really mirror her completely in all my looks, right? The first couple looks maybe, but that's cause I hadn't been here too long. Now I'm just a citizen here as long as she is, so I thought I'd pick something that I liked. Kinda spooky that we have nearly the same taste, huh? Guess that ties into me and her bein mirrors or each other. Heri's cowgirl look is pretty trippin. Very hot lookin. She looks kinda rugged I think though. The tough cowgirl. Trying to be sexy, but still have that tough look. I guess that works. I went for the hot cowgirl look. ::giggles:: Still though lookin. But more curves and more to see, more that makes ya wanna take a ride. Kinda interestin that Heri said she didn't wear it at first since it showed a lotta skin. Don't look like it does to me. Guess it does to her. ::shrugs:: Oh well, guess that means I'll never have to worry about her and me lookin the same. So anytime ya see a purty 'lil cowgirl flyin through the air and she don't have no rope with her, feel free to take a rest and say howdy! |
| B: Got both shots of Ena in this way due to the "cape" she has. At first when I saw the "fringe" cape in the selections I didn't quite understand them because in the long version it looked too short. Then the Heri and Ena cowgirls looks came to mind, and BING, perfect costume for it. It worked well to complete and already good look, IMO. | |
One thing that Earth shares in common with the world I come from is the fancy uniforms for special situations. Albeit we used them for more momentous battles, it makes sense for more civil occasions, they tend to be hard to fight in, at least the ones used by Earthlings. So I took a preference from my home and wore something a bit more comfortable, but still looks decorative, at least by this planet's standards. B: Ena's regal look. Got the idea from a friend's Peacebringer who had a royal look to him, so I followed suit. Gave me a chance to use the new patterns as well. Seems to be a common idea to give a space born alien a royal look.

Everyone thinks Heri is a strange sight. For good reason though. Even among superheroes, Bright green hair and bright green eyes ain't among the norm. There wasn't much weirder due to her half alien half human nature. Then I came along. Not to toot my own horn, but having a one third Kheldian, one third Anadlaian, and one third human makeup to me makes me a bit more weirder I'd guess. ::smiles and snickers:: It wasn't my intention mind you. Ending up here is still a mystery. The Portal researchers still don't know how the Portal ways from this world and mine "crossed" each other so I'm for the time being, I'm stuck. And without my natural powers. The atmosphere isn't conducive to my powers being able to manifest and all, so for intensive purposes I'm a powerless superhero. At least until Solar Burst discovered me. See, after I appeared here in Skyway City, I wandered around aimlessly, trying to gather my bearings. Figuring out where I was and why none of my usual powers were working. After running into the locals and eventually speaking to some of the researchers here, I found my dilemma. I had no way of going home or being able to summon my powers. Without much more to do, I explored much of Skyway City again, hoping to find some connection as to why I was here. That's when Solarburst found me. Spending a week or so here on Earth, I had read though the news of the Peacebringer/Warshade-Nictus conflict. I didn't think much of it more than something else going on until Solarburst happened upon me. She was a Kheldian, and like the others, she wished to help out her kind, as well as those of this world. She found me just at the right time, as I had stumbled upon some Trolls fighting a hero. I guess he was fairly new as the Trolls were laying into him hard. I couldn't do anything to help, so I ran away to get up on higher ground, away from the Trolls. That's when Solarburst approached me. Sensing my problem, and she needing a host, she offered her services of her powers. I was hesitant at first, as I didn't know of how my Anadlaian nature would mix with a Kheldian, but I figured what the heck. We both wanted to do something for our current home, and we certainly needed to help that Hero that was out of his league. So we both merged and became a Peacebringer. |
| B: My best shot for Ena's fusion into a Peacebringer. Amazing how turning on one of her shields can accomplish this. LOL When I have more time and a Peacebringer actually with the Nova form. In my SG we have three people who've made Peacebringers, including me. And ALL three have made them human form only Peacebringers. What are the odds, y'know? LOL It's the way we play. Of those three, two of us have made Warshades, including me. Both of those Warshades have the Nova and Dwarf form. The powers and AT choices end there, but I thought it was amusing considering how diverse PB and WSs get when people make them. | |

As a Peacebringer, one of the things I learned first was of the Kheldians and the Nictus, the warring alien races. It must be a hard thing for the Kheldians to see, that a part of their people would want to become so hungry for power and strength, that they would prey on their own people, literally. I can't imagine what it would be like for a society of people to reach that level of disgust for another part to literally consume them. It never reached that point on my native Htrae, and I'm fairly sure it hasn't for the most part hasn't occurred here, at least to half the population Well, not physically anyway, from what I've been told, people here prey on other people in other manners, but I've only seen it in criminals. That being said, that may be an indication that humans aren't all that far off from reaching the depths of hate that Nictus have turned into. But some Nictus have learned that they have done wrong, and have become Warshades, as we Kheldians have become Peacebringers. To help bring the peace ::laughs after realizing what she just said::, I went and visited the main Warshade here. She seems to want everything we do. I hope those that follow her feels the same. |
| B: Below is a nice shot I grabbed while going to Shadowstar, the Warshade coordinator. I hard to turn on one of Ena's shield to get the Peacebringer's eyes to glow, but I think its pretty cool to see Peacebringer and Warshade standing beside one another. Something I just kinda noticed too. I've had this screenshot up here for months but it just recently dawned on me that it looks like Ena and Shadow are checking someone out. It's kinda like Ena saw someone and said "Dude! check out that guy!" and Shadow's like "What?!?! Who? Where?" and then looks in the same area Ena is to see who she's talking about. | |
| Well nuts, so much for the relations and the Kheldian situation being an easy truce. Several Peacebringers were sent by Sunstorm to Striga Isle at the request of Moonfire. The Nictus threat is already an issue, but the Council has taken that already explosive problem and created more issues, ones that all the heroes of Paragon City, not just us. Before our arrival the 5th column itself was at the doorstep of trying to take over this world, and the Council Empire that has felled them is no better a replacement. Arakhn won't cease til every last Peacebringer is wiped out, and her army of Nictus, her twisted Nictus experiments, the Galaxy troops and Warwolves increase til their numbers are able to best the heroes here and they overrun the streets. I was part of a Peacebringer compliment designed to keep Arakhn and her little schemes in check. We were successful, but while the Nictus remain here, none of us are ever safe. | |
| B: Just a pretty cool shot of Enacireh and Moonfire, the Council Turncoat and contact for the Moonfire TF. Two of the coolest Peacebringers in the game, IMO. :) Another slight note, every time I see Moonfire, I think of my SG mate, Kendal. It's due to the hairstyle I'm sure, that and I remember the first time she saw Moonfire's pic, she really wanted her sash, heh. Ena's not too positive in talking about this issue. Quite a bit of a difference between her and Heri, despite they're good natures. Ena looks at the Kheldian-Nictus War as with only one resolution, the complete removal of the Nictus, due to their continual preying upon the Kheldians she only sees the only way is for either every single Nictus to either convert to a Warshade or die. | |

| The standard "hero-esque" stance that the journalists here seem to like to capture us in. Not sure quite why. They can stand the same way. For some reason we seem more heroic. Not sure why that is. How can this pose make us seem more heroic, more apt to be inspiring to the masses? Definitely some human thing. I've been told that Hericane has been photographed in this pose, further proof that I'm constantly a mirror to her. I still somewhat doubt that. Last I checked she was just one full being, not two in one. Whatever the case, the people are probably going to believe what they want. Which is their freedom. I'll just keep to what I've been called to do, to protect that very freedom. | |
B: A better shot of Ena, and her eyes below, and gloves more observable |
| OOOO was I pissed this day. I know villains aren't gonna be nice to us "heroes" but man, do they use things that HURT! Ya see that thing sticking outta me? Drove so painfully into me that it almost felt like Solar wanted to jump outta me because that crossbow dart thing hurt so damn much. It turned out all stars tho. You can see that usual wispy buildup when I'm gonna let whoever's pissed me off have it. At the moment its this reaper guy. I'm sure he hurt as much as I did when he finally came to in a few days in Zigursky Penitentiary. Maybe next time he'll think about his choice of jobs. | |
B: LOL I love this shot. That reaper looks like he's backing up and thinking "OH CRAP!" |
| His buddy here wasn't too bright either. Did he see his friend get plowed unconscious into the ground and turn and leave, thinking it might be best to get outta this gal's way? Oh no. Villains are too dumb to do that, or too cocky. They figure that those that get dropped by me and the like didn't have what it took to stop me, that they were to weak or somethin. And THEY are the ones to get the job done. Sorry, charlie. Yer friend couldn't handle a Kheldian bolt, and neither will you! | |
| B: Just Ena doing her thing, as usual. I never get tired of watching the visual effects of Peacebringers, whether they're mine or someone else's. They combine a lot of the good traits of the other types, the BOOM of the tankers, the endless firepower of the blaster, and the raw damage of the scrapper. | |
| As I mentioned before, I think I like this look. Ever since I've worn it, I've gotten a bit of a boost when getting in little scraps with the criminals here. I dunno whether wearing it has any special "channeling" of all things Heri, or its just a coincidence that I decided to wear it as my powers have seemed to come into their own as powerful in their own right. Whatever the reason, its certainly made me feel more comfortable about going out and putting a stop to anything evil out there. Which in this case is that very unconscious Mafia Gunner guy there. :) | |
| B: I lucked out on grabbing a shot like this. After plowing that Button Man Gunner good, Ena went into her usual ready-fight-still stance. With the angle of the shot, and the flapping of the cape, I think this shot makes Ena look pretty powerful. :) And in the Penthouse Heri costume too! :) I dunno why but that's another little running theme I got hooked on doing, getting good shots of the Heris while in this particular look. Probably nothing any more special than any repeated pattern, to me it just gives a air of dignity to them all as they go about fighting. :) I've made a page displaying the Heris in their Penthouse looks. Just click the pic below to be taken to it. | |
| Or this Wolf Spider guy. What's with these loony spider soldiers? It's bad enough that every freakin gang that has any sort of sort of special "superpower" of some kind wants to take the city for itself, we have this new "spider" villain group. Aren't spider things supposed to be good? Oh wait, that's Spider-Man.. well. ok whatever... guess spiders are evil in this city :: Oh well, just chalk one more group with delusions of grandeur ::shrugs and slams an Arachnos soldier painfully:: | |
| B: Kinda harder to tell in this pic due to the inside being pretty dark, but Ena's winding up to use Radiant Strike like she did a few pictures up. First screenshot of an Arachnos that turned out decent. Ok semi-decent. You can really only tell its one if you look at the helmet. Fun missions to go on BTW. Found in the PvP Zone of Bloody Bay, there's just a bunch of timed missions to go on to help buff your side or debuff other other side. And the chance to square off against villains, if you're up for the challenge. I haven't really tried much with Ena, she's kinda squishy, and Stalkers always one shot me. Although, when a corruptor or dominator comes to duel with me, its kinda fun. :) Almost of a race to see if they can hold or slow me down before I can get past their defenses with a few shots and lay in the big hits. Note: Ena sucks at outnumbered fights too, LOL, so I tend to avoid them if I can. I end up in a lot of these when I jump into a Neighborhood Battle in Siren's Call. I get my butt whooped every time. Oh well, can't complain. Everyone in the zone is fair game. :) | |

MMMMM!!! Nothin like Peacebringer Power! I took some notes and a pointer from Em. Kept seeing her pound the ground with her foot, either when she was around a buncha baddies, or just pissed off-like. She don't do that too much too often anymore, she keeps rearranging the base that way and Kendal gives her severe base watching/cleaning/do-whatever's-needed-to-fix-the-base duty. That's just a horror to us as it is her, as she never gets the base arranged right the first time. Generally takes her a few times to get it back exactly how it was setup before she FUBARed it. I couldn't give a care as long as there is somewhere I can bundle up and just get some very needed rest. I've even flown up to one of the bridge-like balconies Kendal speaks from for SG meetings. They're restful enough, and comfortable. Ok not really, but restful. Kendal doesn't like me up there. I dunno why. I rest there, then go about my business. Could be that the other Heri's caught onto the same thing ::grins:: We're strange like that. Like if one has a good idea that doesn't seem too far out, that'd be Hera, if anyone's paying attention, the rest of us seem to mentally just catch it and do it as well. Drives Kendal, Pyro Kitty, and Talisaar freakin buggy, but what can we do? Not like we planned this... Maybe Em does, she's just enough of a party girl with rebellious qualities to sometimes want to play around with Kendal and the others. Not usually though. Tends to avoid problems so she can just keep on having fun. Cause girls just wanna have fun, right? The other Heris seem to be fine with finding wherever they can to bundle and retreat away from life. Lady H is a bit snobbish about it. Makes all a fuss about how order is required so everything just doesn't lapse into chaos and all that bull. eventually she just gives up and lays down on a table or chair or a makeshift bed on the dojo floor. ::chuckles:: Not that we're tryin to be mean or anything, but it's pretty cute when Em stomps and shatters our base into shambles. Not like its fun to walk around rubble or a half built base for days on end, but its pretty fun guessing what its going to look like next. We've even gone to lengths and bet on it all. Jordi wasn't too comfortable about that part at first. I guess she was raised not to gamble and stuff. But when we all decided that the winner would get free food from UP and Away or City of Gyros paid for, she agreed to that. She won't gamble if its for money (like we need money away, Kendal seems to have a infinite stash of cash somewhere to pay for the base and all our needs) but she's fine if its for food, that's paid for by money. Little Heri's definitely a character. It's kinda interesting to see how Em manages to fix the base. I think sometimes she does it wrong just for the hell of it. Just cause she can and feels like it. All very Emily like. And it gets under Kendal's skin, something that Em seems to enjoy doing. Like she always says, "I can't get ever get under her covers, so I'll get under her skin instead." So its doesn't seem to be to spite Kendal, just Em having fun. Not very hero-like. But then again Em's not exactly hero-like in terms of being like Jordi, so we all just kinda expect it. I think one time I was feeling colder than normal, so I sat by the fireplace and set a fire going, and Joey musta felt the same cause she ported into the room, from wherever she was before she ported (see? example of that Heri connectedness) and we both jut kinda bundled up and got warm and just fell asleep. I woke up the next morning, or night, or day or whatever, you can never tell what time of day it is, until you walk into the tech area of the base and check the readings. Well when I woke up I did just that, it was right there, so I stumbled up the little mini steps hit the buttons that Kendal has said to, saw it was night, and then I stumbled back to the fireplace, thinkin if it was night, I'm goin back to bed. Right as I was getting bundled again, I sat there staring at Joey, who was lookin at the tech area all wide-eyed. Took me a moment to look back and think, waitasec... it cant' be night... It was night when I went to sleep and no way did I sleep that long and why the hell is the tech area so freakin close? Usually its the fireplace/meeting area next to the dojo and the library/park/peaceful reading area next door. The tech area is usually WAY on the other side of the base near the entrance. Holy hell did Em pull a big one this time. Like all Em rearrangements I went into the tech area to see how else the base was laid out. Joey musta been thinkin the same thing case she came walkin behind me. Looks like this time the tech area was placed adjacent to Talisaar's magic library and then that was connected to the entrance. Talisaar didn't seem to like this much, cause he was yelling his head off at Em, who was standing there in one of her more sexier nighties. That's Em for ya by the way, she's worn her sexy stuff around us so much most of us aren't affected anymore. Its like seeing her in a t-shirt and jeans. Anyhow, Em's just standing there taking the full brunt of Talisaar's complaints along with Kendal's. Em will literally just stand there and let whoever's pissed at her yell and scream until they're finished and then she'll go back to work on the base. She did exactly that this time around, which then Joey and I went back to the fire and bundled back up, hell with what time it was, we were tired. With all that happening with what Em does with her nice little foot stomp, who wouldn't want to learn it and use it elsewhere, right? Didn't seem that hard to learn, although the other Heris don't seem able to make enough waves for it to be of much use. Maybe it's something about Em. ::shrugs:: Whatever the deal, I wanted to do that too, so.... I spend some time practicing far, far away from our base. Nothing happened right away, just looked like I was tryin some new dance. But then one night while out in Croatoa and keepin the local Fir Bolg at bay, I tried stompin one, since his big, fat pumpkin head was right one ground, and it looked ripe for squashing. I missed him, but slammed the ground so hard it went BOOM! and all this Peacebringer energy went rippling out from where my foot hit. Ever since then I've been stomp ripplin my way at the no good baddies. It especially works really well when I decided to change my looks and picked a cowgirl look like Jordi has. Felt all tough and mean and bad to the bone, or squid... or whatever I am to the core. As you can see below I'm stompin and rockin the socks, er logs, er whatever that Totem thing has for bootsies. Anyhow, he didn't like me stomping much. Nor did anything else that got a taste of it while I was in my Heri cowgirl look neither. Even though it had a pretty sweet feel to it, Jordi's look didn't feel right. I didn't feel girlish enough. So I changed it a bit. Em does have a free account at Icon, so I decided to go use one of my free trips there. Not too much, but just enough, and then I headed back to Croatoa, 'cuz those Fir Bolg were reported to be at it again. Good for me, bad for them. Especially since my stomp works just fine. The purty cowgirl is here to stay! |
| B: This is a seriously awesome power. Solar Flare. Peacebringer version of Foot Stomp. But with a bit more Oomph. I use Foot Stomp on Herri like all the time and I sure as hell don't remember the serious knock back that Solar Flare creates. Guess it's because the Tank needs to more just keep things knocked down and the PEacebringer is more free to knock things around and finish them as the slowly get back up. | |
| And then I come to find out the invaders aren't the usual Fir Bolg, but these little dwarf lookin things. Didn't look too hard to take care, but I did remember some reports made by the other Heris about this area. These little dwarves, the Red Caps they call them, they wear green shirts and red caps... imagine that, are tough little creatures. They're the ones that have summoned the Fir Bolg and the Tuatha de Danaan here. I hadn't had too much trouble with either of those, so I didn't think of much issue with the Red Caps either, although I kept my guard up in case. Good thing I did. While they seemed pretty weak against Peacebringer energies, they took in a lot of my punches that floors usually anything else. So that wasn't any fun. Luckily, the local experts and go-to people here in Salamanca are kinda enough to give us do-gooders some ammo to handle the local misfits. One is this big ol' iron sword. Nothing like whackin an enemy with a big ol iron stick. Fit my cowgirl look pretty well, very old western style. Maybe a pistol with a peal handle might have been more apt, but something physical to use worked well. | |
| B: the Iron sword temp power that's take from broadsword is a VERY nice compliment to the melee powers of a Peacebringer. Hell, all temp powers seem to me. Sands of Mu, the Shadow Maul like temp power, was a very nice finisher or one-two punch with Ena's melee attacks. And with Ena's energy based attacks, the Red Caps were a lot less a hassle than with my other toons. A couple of her PB attacks and the sword would usually be strong enough to finish off anything. Plus the first screenie of her posing with the sword is pretty sweet, looks already to fight and all. Note, these pictures are pre before I remembered the new cowgirl boots, so I've got just plain combat boots here. | |
| Or this trusty bow and arrow, given out by that ghost girl.. Kelly whatshername... Nemmers... that's it... Kelly Nemmers. And people start when they see any Peacebringer or Warshade with our glowing eyes. I'd think a see thru regular person would be a little bit more shocking. Could be no one goes down far enough to visit her much, but who knows. This bow and arrow set came in pretty handy. Makes me look like a genuine cowgirl too, and that's all pluses. And it makes for a safe Salamanca. | |
| B: I was so stoked this day. In general the "protect the stone hedges" against the never ending red caps ambushes for 12 in-game minutes isn't all that hard. Maybe hard with my more end heavy toons. But Ena I was a little bit worried due to facing Voids/Quantums in ambushes before, you can't always get a jump on the Void before they can you. I think I faced 3-4 during the ambushes total, and kept the hedges damage free. Go Ena! | |
| That is, until the really big natives come out to play... I think all of us kept the Fir Bolg away one too many times, and the big one decided it was enough, so we had to take down a very big Pumpkin headed king thing. Woulda been nice if that was an actual Pumpkin. We all coulda made a lotta pumpkin pie out of that. | |
| B: Ena's in rare form here in these shots... I'm not one for staying in SG mode when I'm not around SG mates who are doing the same, so why Ena is here I don't have a clue, so enjoy for its rarity I guess! | |
| Speaking of big things to fight, ever since I've been here and gotten into fights and started to get involved in them, once you get into one it just doesn't stop. I wonder if this is a place where big monster come to practice or something. Or whether its a trial place, like you're official a monster if you can last this long, or beat this many heroes, and cause this much destruction. I'd think if there was they'd all be coming from that fames "Monster Island" up near the Portal Corporation, but those are only those big plant ones. Anyhow, this day we had to fend of the giant squid that shows up VERY often. Despite it being a very stubborn, I was with several other Peacebringers that day, all who were very noble and steadfast in defending the port away from Lucsa. | |
| B: This was a helluva fight right here. Peacebringers are pretty powerful, but in turn they're fairly squishie. We had 5 PBs going, 3 stayed mostly in squids mode and 2 of us in human mode, since that was our build. I was one of the human builds. I had been a little hesitant about going for it, since most melee chars tend to die often via Lucsa, unless you can a very very good healer. But Ena didn't have the badge, and an all PB team peaked my curiosity. We actually did have 3 of us who picked up healing among our PB powers, but generally we all were busy. But after we got out rhythm down, the 3 squids firing continuously, while the other human form stayed careful of his hp bar, I just stuck to healing, as I didn't see any reason for two of us in melee range to risk death and having one more person to heal. We did have some other non-PB members helping us. Notably Gia and Fire-bird ( @gothicmoth) who helped with the healing and buffing, but for the most part us 5 PBs stuck together and damage Lucsa and its Tentacles while keeping each other healed. I remember seeing at least one, maybe more reverting to human form to get off a heal on me or the other human form. So if you ever read this, thanx for the invite and a memorable time I'll never forget Penn. :) | |

| Uh huh..... This is definitely why this city needs us around. Either this town has a serious case of vandals that get their fun from switching signs or we have some new villains in town making people either forget what their selling or making them changing buildings. ::looks behind her and sees another EL Super Mexicano sign:: who knows.. this could be Super Mexicano's way of advertising itself. | |
| B: LOL its always fun to catch goofs or just strange bugs in this game... Here's one that popped up around the beginning of Issue 7. All of the magic stores have their signs replaced by the Super Mexicano. It's led a lot of people to wonder if its a placeholder graphic like the 5th Column Mekman is for NPCs when the game can't find the right graphic. NOTE: This bug has been fixed. The Magic Store signs are back to normal. | |

Okay... this firefighting thing is a new experience for me. Someone tell me why we're all doing this? Ain't this something that the ice heroes and the storm-like heroes like Heri should be doin? I mean doesn't ice and water put this fire out like a snap? Just let the rest of us smoke out the Hellions so they won't do this in the first place? Wouldn't it be easier to let us use our powers naturally, instead of lugging these big packs around? Granted they do work.. I just figured out natural powers might be more easier.. Maybe they'd make it worse...I guess in spirit of the WTC terrorist tragedy that we should give honor to those firefighters that were brave as any of us heroes were, without any powers. |

| One thing I love about being a hero, particular one endowed with alien powers is how the villains underestimate me since they don't see my powers until they attack me and I attack back. I thought at first being stuck completely in human form was going to be rougher on me compared to other Peacebringers, but I've hung in there. Bad guys don't go all nutso like when they see a flying alien at them either so it makes this hero thing a bit easier. It's like the ninja dude there, thinkin he's got all he needs with his sword... or three. Three? why the hell is he carrying three? Maybe he loses swords easily ::shrugs:: Whatever the deal, they always think they got the best of me, same with the mafia gunner dude. But after they try, and I seriously mean try, I let loose and show them what a Peacebringer can do. In the end they're layin flat on the ground and I walk out unarmed, just the way I walked in. | |

| See? I even got the bead on the void troopers. They usually have Peacebringers and Warshades shakin in their boots, but not me. ::crosses her arms and shakes her head:: I landed in front of this guy and he just stood there, didn't take out his quantum rifle or nothing. I told him to just stand there and flash his pretty little glowing eyes while we waited til the Warriors and Tsoo around us knocked each other unconscious, and then we'd finish up our business. ::rubs her thigh, a minor bruise showing, the visible signs of a quantum blast evident:: Would've gone smoothly except one Warrior remained and reminded the Void hunter why he was hired in the first place ::grins:: More fun for me I suppose, so it all works out. | |
| B: Ena is pretty bold when it comes to voids and quantums. Could be why I get so much debt as her when I fight them ::grin:: Personally when I'm playing either Ena or Enac I pause a bit seeing either, especially if the con higher. This screenshot was possible due to Ena being 4-5 levels above the rest of the mobs in the scene, thus they didn't aggro. Otherwise they're be a pretty aggressive void there. | |

B: These two shots were a riot. It was an attempt at an all Kheldian Respec Trial. There were only two of us that made our builds human builds. Wasn't to be different or special or anything, just how we played. Mine's Ena, and the other is Sleepy Kitty's, of Legion of Catgirls fame, Neko Rurican, I think was the name. Anyway, I don't remember how it started but at one point while we were regrouping in the first major room of the reactor some of the others started joking about Ena being the Queen of the Kheldians. I think I remember one started doign the worship command while we waited, then another, etc. etc. It was insane, I felt kinda embarrassed cause I wasn't the strongest of the group and didn't really help when it counted. We ultimately lost the trial, despite all of doing what we could. But they were all good friends from the Guardian channel, so I just went along with it. |

| More Peacebringer power for ya! Just a really no fun day of going down into one of those Circle of Thorns temples and bringing back some kinda old tome of a whoseit-whatsit that the local spiritualists were getting worked up about the Circle stealing it. So Marlen and I went down there. Not very cooperative fellows down there. Had to blind them quite a few times as Marlen froze them solid before slamming them into pieces. | |
| B: Marlen is an alt of my friend that I team with for the Lady Herricane and Archaos duo. :) Hi Kim! ^_^ | |

| Discovering exactly what I can do still is kinda alienating, if you'll pardon the pun. I certainly don't know the limits of what I can do, and Solar doesn't seem to either. And if she does, she's being quiet about it. Maybe she's not sure whether our unique fusion will allow the powers she knows about to work right? Like my ability to heal and restore other beings. I was investigating the Council. I was hot on the lead of a possibly egomaniac with some technology that he shouldn't have gotten his hands on. I dunno who this guy is but he had to be big, because I was helpin out this hero guy who had retired, but still had his powers. Must be a big enough problem to come out of retirement. He did turn out to be a problem. Got pretty close to a crisis a little bit there. The hero, Thunderhead, wasn't his old self I'm guessing. Figures, should let us new heroes handle it. No reason to cause more trouble. But what's done is done. As he's getting toasted by wave after wave of galaxy troops, Solar's getting all antsy and feels the need to try and extend some energy to him. Sounded like a shield to me. I could go for that. So I reached out my arms and a gush of the energy that made up me and Solar, or just me, or whatever, flowed brightly to Thunderhead, and I could see his wounds being slowly recovering and his spirit kinda being rejuvenated. It's a weird feeling when I send that energy over to "heal" a teammate, but I always feel rejuvenated myself. | |
| B: Another of Ena's decent side powers. Glowing Touch, the PB ally heal. Its not really really powerful, but it's enough to keep others alive at times. I see now why people tend to see PBs as the blaster/scrapper/defender blend. They definitely do that in human form. And liek the rest of hte PB powers, as you can see it's pretty showy. The hero in front of me that I'm healing is a hero rescue called Jim "Thunderhead" Bartlett. | |
