This is my page dedicated to one of my non-Heri alts. One day while leveling
one of my Heris, a COH friend of mine was zipping around on one of his toons.
Tifa Locheart. Didn't take much of gamer to realize this was a clone of
FF7's Tifa Lockhart. He sent me some tells about him creating a SG of FF
chars, and asked me if I wanted to make one and join. I said I'd think about
it. I already have a copyrighted characters name as my main, Heri, and a
tribute char to a copyrighted char, Dominica to the Magdalena. I said I was
interested in making a healer anyway so I might bring Aerith to life. I
thought about it over a few days and then after downloading and watching FF:
Advent Children, I knew I had to make either Aerith or Cloud. I
already had a costume idea for the real Aerith once she hit level 20, so I
made her a empathy/psychic defender. She's been one of my most enjoyable
toons to play, and I've gained respect both as a healer and one who has been
true to Aerith, and have made some friends and some friends closer friends
due to her. I've been told in tells by several people that they cried
when Aerith died by Sephiroth's sword. During the Valentines Day event 2006
in Pocket D, I was told by several people that they thought it sucked that I,
meaning Aerith, was stabbed in the back. Sometimes while standing at a
tram station or a trainer leveling up, heroes will come and go past me, but
every now and then one will run by but back up, and send me a tell of
something like "Wow, nice look" One time while running around Bloody Bay,
helping a friend, another Guardian channel mentioned that she saw a really
amazing Aerith clone. She didn't get a good look at me since I was
stealthed to avoid PvP fights, so she only must've saw a second of Aerith's
signature pink dress and brick red top. I always feel good when someone
tells me that my Aerith looks like the real thing. She's one of the
most memorable characters in FF and VG history, and it always warms me when
I'm living up to her reputation when healing people.

Not to toot my own horn, but as Aerith I've gotten on a lot of AV teams due
to my ability to be a good emp, both in healing and buffing. One who watches
not just the hp bar, but also the end bars and hitting people with forts and
ABs to compensate. Below is me with just 3 other heroes fighting Dominatrix. |

B: Aerith at the end of helping out at a firefighting event. I really felt
weak on this event, because usually I like to pound the Hellions. Since I've
tried to make Aerith the best healer I can I've given her nothing on her
attacks, so I was left to put out fires. Luckily we had a smart team who
keep the fires out and the Hellions down but no completely gone, so I was
fortunate to get 2 fire badges out of the fun.

B: Aerith on the Ernesto Hess TF, or The Mechman Cometh. A nice shot
of the second to last mission showing a control room overlooking the
construction of the Mechman. Aerith is invited to TFs and trials
fairly often. On this one I wasn't alone in looking ordinary. The
controller in front of me was just wearing a shirt and some jeans. :) |

B: In hopes that Aerith never gets Generic Hero'd I've given her some
real superhero looks. This one below I thought was pretty snazzy. It's her
battle medic look. completely with shiny visor blast shield. That ones thing
I've found that getting a good video card and extra RAM to give COH's best
graphics without the lag |

B: Hehe, this is a weird map glitch as the team I was on came into a Oranbegan
CoT map. We were supposed to destroy the portals, in it. Apparently one of
them decided to appear at the entrance. It so looked like a mystical
saw blade trying to cut something but got stuck. |

B:
This was taken when I ran Aerith through the first Shadow Shard TF, Dr.
Quaterfield. We were nearly halfway done I believe at this point, but even
still, on a TF that will take at least 6 hrs to almost 12, and averages
8-10, we all took a long break to recuperate. As we were all returning we
started fooling around. I took a snapshot of one of our controllers
that demonstrated that the lightposts around the zones can not only be stand
on, but also can be a place you can target and drop down a ground based AOE
power.

B:
Aerith helping to fight the Kraken. I think we all were on a way to a
mission when Aerith took like -150 damage while heading to the mission door
in Perez Park. Since the zone is usually just mobs of level 7-14 and they
wouldn't have been aggro'd by her, much less damage her, I figured I got to
close to the big slug monster that I didn't see. |

B: Here I am with DiamondSpine's Archery
defender. There was one person on the Guardian channel who kept wanting the
Positron TF, either themselves, by playing two characters by themselves on
two different computers, either on a team, or just their two accounts. They
didn't make it through it with a team, who interestingly enough turned out
to be the majority of the team composed for the SS TF above that areith went
on.
We possibly thought it might have been too difficult for two defenders to do
it. It seemed easy enough for when I duo'd it with DiamondSpine with Heri
and the same Defender. We wondered if Aerith and her could complete it. Took
longer due to having less damage, but we did it. Only details was again we
both were exe'd down to the max TF level, due to both of us being in our
late 30s. The person above I think had characters somewhere in the 10-15
level range that Posi's TF is, but not the max 15. So who knows. I'd
personally guess that trying to control two characters on two different
computers had to be difficult. Hell, even instances of COH running on the
same computer might be difficult unless one had a wide monitor or duel
monitors and was able to switch from window to window quick enough to use
the other character in an emergency. |
