Divine Command Theory

In Ethics, a deontological moral theory that maintains all moral obligation is derived from a divine command (reveled or direct). God, through the act of commanding, creates all moral obligation without regard to any other source of moral assessment (i.e., reason, capacity to suffer, tradition, etc.).
