Higher Education is often a dream never realized by individuals and families with low to moderate incomes. A lack of financial resources and significant life challenges are often obstacles seemingly impossible to overcome.

Through a partnership with A New Leaf, Mesa Community College, and private donations you can apply for an Individual Development Account (IDA). The IDA program will match your savings on a 3:1 ratio (ie: save $1 get $3) up to $1,000.00. You can save up to $1,000.00 and may receive up to $3,000.00 in matched funds, providing you with $4,000.00 for education expenses.

Once you open the IDA savings account, any money you deposit for a minimum of six months, plus the matched funds, can be utilized towards your college education. Individual savings in an IDA for this program, including matched dollars, are only to be used towards the attainment of a higher education at Mesa Community College. Money management training is required at no cost to quality for matched funds.
