Select & Register for Classes

Select & Register for Classes

Registration begins several months in advance of each semester at MCC. To get the classes you want, you should register as soon as possible. See the Online Schedule here. If you need special arrangements, such as alternative text books or interpreters for the deaf, we may need considerably more time to have everything ready for you.

There are several resources available to help you select the course and/or program that is right for you:

Course Placement Testing:

Testing may be required prior to enrolling in some courses or programs of study. Course placement tests help advisors and counselors assist you in choosing the right classes to successfully achieve your educational goals.

DRS Students who require accommodations for their placement tests need to make sure they have met with a DRS Advisor prior to testing. You will need an Assessment Testing Accommodation Notification Form to take to your Testing.

The Testing Services Center has practice tests available to help you. Learn more at their website, visit their offices, or call them at 480-461-7480 or fax: 480-461-7483.

Academic Advisement/Registration:

This important step is recommended for all students and may be required for some programs of study.

Advisors can assist you in choosing the courses that will fit your academic goals and help you develop an academic plan that will keep you on track for graduation. In some instances, it may be necessary to meet with an Advisor outside of the DRS office for specified academic programs such as nursing, dental hygiene, or some business career options. The DRS Program Advisors will also help you with the registration process for all of your classes.

Learn more about Advisement & Transfer Services on their website, visit their offices, or call them at 480-461-7452 or fax: 480-461-7704.
