Tips from Students Like You!
Stress Relief:
I think my best advice would be (especially in my case) is to do
something that helps relieve stress, like doing yoga a few times a
week. I notice that if I don't relieve my stress I will not
perform very well at all no matter how much I know the material.
I do stupid things like read the questions wrong, etc. when my
stress levels are high or read into the questions too much.
Get Organized:
Aside from making sure your organized, keep a calender to
plan your life, be flexible, keep a positive attitude, don't miss class,
recording lectures helps.
Block 2:
For Process, Listen to breeze
presentations! Don't just memorize signs and symptoms make sure you
understand why it happens.
Block 3:
Diane Dietz class know your labs
inside and out. Know endocrine systems well, study with 2 or 3 people
max! Listen to breeze presentation's for review. Do NCLEX questions.
Read, Read, Read:
Read your power points before you go to class. Look up any
words you do not understand. Read the chapter in your book that
coincides with the power point slide. This way, when you go to class you
can concentrate on what the teacher is saying; not what a word means.
