Course Repitition

Students may repeat a course previously completed at a Maricopa Community College in order to improve a grade. Upon written petition, only the higher grade that has a point value will be credited and used in computing the grade point average. Both grades will appear on the permanent record.

Students may repeat a course. All grades that have a point value will appear on the student's permanent record. Students shall take no more than four semesters of work in any course.

Official transcripts will not be issued to students having outstanding debts to any of the Maricopa Community Colleges. The release of transcripts is governed by the guidance of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
