Concurrent or Dual?

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual (DE) students take courses at their high school taught by high school teachers who meet community college standards. You earn high school and college credit at the same time.

What is Concurrent?

Concurrent students are under 18 with no high school diploma or GED. CE students enroll in college courses at the college. You receive college credit for the course and may qualify for high school credit. Check with your school.

Courses offered are General Education courses, students are placed in courses based on the scores they receive from the ASSET / ALEKS Course Placement. Asset / ALEKS course placement testing is facilitated by the ACE Program staff during student orientation.
