Sign Up To Participate:

If you would like to sign up to participate and feature your service-learning or honors project at the Reflection Showcase event, please sign up online here.

 

Throughout the week, there will be:
  1. Physical exhibits of student work on display on the first floor (and second if needed) of the Desert Willow Building
  2. Special announcements on campus honoring student success, e.g., posted flyers, sandwich boards, etc.
 
On Wednesday, 4/24 there will be a:
  1. Honors forum poster session from 5-6pm
  2. Honors presentation session at 7pm
  3. From 6-7pm, Student Life and Leadership will be presenting their annual Summit Awards (celebrating outstanding student achievement).  

All three events are held in the Community Room (M 200).

 

On Thursday, 4/25,the Library is hosting the last book club meeting at 1:30 pm for the book Stumbling On Happiness by Daniel Gilbert, where students will be offering their perspectives of Gilbert's book and examining Gilbert's treatment of primary sources as a secondary source author.
 
On Friday (4/26), Psi Beta is hosting a student workshop, led by Psi Beta students, on Developing Self Esteem; there will be two sessions, one at 10:00 AM and one at 11:00 AM, both sessions are in the Community Room (M 200).

Event Details:

Students will feature displays using trifold boards or slideshows/PowerPoints to highlight their project:

  • What they did
  • What they learned
  • How they made a difference

Judges will come around asking the students to discuss their project. 

NOTE:

  • This event is outdoors.  Keep that in mind and make sure to bring water and sunscreen
  • Power will be limited so bring your laptops fully-charged if you will be using a laptop
  • The event is superhero-themed.  We encourage everyone to share their inner hero - dressing up is optional
