Students and instructors can attend to meet approved community partners and find great service sites for their Service-Learning placement

Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair invites community members, faculty, staff, and students to purchase Scholastic books to support the America Reads Programs and their future events

Lost and Found Sale

Items found and returned to Public Safety that are unclaimed after 6+ months are sold to interested community members, faculty, staff, and students.  Proceeds fund "Making a Difference Grants"

Phi Theta Kappa Induction

Ceremony to celebrate the new Phi Theta Kappa members with family, friends, and PTK Advisors

Service-Learning Reflection Showcase

Students exhibit their Service-Learning projects for the semester with visual displays.  They are judged, with a chance of being recognized for their great reflections on their service experience.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

Hosted by the Center for Service-Learning and the Education Studies Department through a collaborative effort among the America Reads Program, elementary-age students are invited to multiple locations across campus with the purpose of celebrating reading and literacy

Phi Theta Kappa

Ceremony to celebrate the new Phi Theta Kappa members with family, friends, and PTK Advisors

Special Olympics

Three-day event that takes place across MCC's athletic fields, tracks, and gyms.  We invite volunteers to be a part of the Green Team, Fans in the Stands, and Spread the Word to End the Word campaign, in addition to helping the Special Olympics organization or serving on the Medical Team
