DHE132 Dental Hygiene Theory I 3 Credits

Study of the dental hygiene process of care with emphasis on assessment, planning and implementation. Topics include instrumentation, adjunct dental hygiene services, instrument sharpening, computer technology, dental specialties and professional accountability.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (DHE120 and admission to the Dental Hygiene Program) or permission of Instructor. Corequisites: DHE133.
