Introduce students to the United States Air Force and encourage participation in Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC). Featured topics include: introduction to leadership, Air Force core values, introduction to interpersonal communication and team building, and a continuation of communication skills. The Leadership Laboratory component provides dynamic and integrated grouping of leadership developmental activities designed to meet the needs and expectations of prospective Air Force second lieutenants and complement the AFROTC academic program. This course will prepare the successful student to receive the "Certified IPC Specialist" (CIS) certification from The Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits (IPC)/Wire Harness Manufacturer's Association (WHMA) in "Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies" (IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification). ART142 Introduction to Digital Photography 3 Credits

Fundamentals of digital photography. Includes camera operations, exposure techniques, introduction to digital output, and theory of digital photography. Prerequisites: None.

It is recommended that students with little or no computer experience or those not familiar with Macintosh computers complete ART 100 prior to enrolling in ART142.
