Colleges is published by the Campus Compact National Center for Community
Colleges through a grant to advance service-learning on community colleges.
This sourcebook is part of the Center's strategy to provide technical
assistance to community colleges and their partners throughout the nation.

THE CAMPUS COMPACT NATIONAL CENTER FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES
MISSION:
The Campus Compact National Center for Community
Colleges, established in 1990, has a dual mission. First, it serves as
a national advocate for community colleges to sustain service-learning
as a national movement. Second, it serves member organizations and others
in the promotion and implementation of community service as a means of
improving teaching and learning to the benefit of students and the communities
in which they serve.
