Patrons with Disabilities

The MCC Libraries are committed to providing services to meet the needs of patrons with disabilities. The staff shall make a reasonable effort to provide assistance as needed to ensure equal access to the Libraries' resources and services. Reasonable accommodations shall be made for patrons with disabilities on an individualized and flexible basis. It is however, incumbent upon the individual to seek assistance and make her/his needs known.

General Assistance

Assistance using any of the Libraries' facilities, research assistance and retrieval of materials from stacks, shelves, files, etc. by library staff is provided upon request. Help of this type is available at all times that the Libraries are open.

Photocopy Services

Users may request assistance at any service desk. Although assistance is usually readily available, patrons requesting multiple copies may arrange to pick them up at a later date. The patron is responsible for photocopying costs.

Closed Captioned Video Stations for Hearing Impaired

Closed caption video viewing is available on selected monitors.
