Immunization Recommendations
Remember it can take up to four weeks to make an appointment with a doctor or clinic, receive the immunization, and have time for optimal protection to take effect. The Center for Disease Control recommends adults stay current on vaccinations for routinely screened diseases, as well as receiving updated protection against new threats. Please consult the Adult Vaccine Preventable Diseases page to learn about each disease and whether or not you need the vaccine as an adult.
