MCC Study Abroad
Complete the Paperwork

All MCC study abroad programs have the same application process. It's easy to get started!
- Choose the program that is right for you. Check the list of available courses offered for 2012.
- Download and complete the application making certain you understand any specific program requirements. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply early to reserve your place! Late applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 2012 Application

All Summer 2012 applications are due by March 23, 2012. - Submit the application to the Program Director for your specific program or to the Study Abroad Coordinator located in Building NU 6 N-120 at the Southern & Dobson campus. The Program Director will contact you via phone or email to discuss your participation in the program. Once you are accepted into the program, you can apply for a scholarship. The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2012.
- If you plan to apply for financial aid, call or visit the Financial Aid Office to find out about your options.
- Make your reservation deposit and pay your program fee according to specific program deadlines. If you are a current MCC student, progam fee payments can be made to MCC Cashier Services by phone, in-person, or by mail. Be aware there may be non-refundable deposits.
- If you are NOT a current MCC student, you will need to apply/reapply for admission first. Follow the Simple Steps to Enrollment here.
- Register for your classes after March 1 and pay course tuition by the due date.
- Apply for your passport or renew your old one (if needed). Some countries require that your passport be valid at least 6 months beyond the date of your trip. For more information, visit the US Department of State website.

Mandatory Orientation:
April 14, 2012 from 9 am - 1 pm in LB145 in the Elsner Library at the Southern & Dobson campus.
You must attend the mandatory general study abroad orientation. There may be additional required meetings for your specific program. Contact the Program Director for details.
- Download and print the Student Checklist to be ready to go.
- Pack your luggage and get ready for your life transforming experience!
