Select Your Classes

There are several resources available to help you select the course and/or program that is right for you:

Course Placement Testing:

Testing may be required prior to enrolling in some courses and is highly recommended before meeting with an advisor. Course placement tests help advisors and counselors assist you in choosing the right classes to successfully achieve your educational goals.

The Testing Services Center has practice tests available to help you. Learn more at their website or call them at 480-461-7480 or fax: 480-461-7483.

Academic Advisement:

This important step is recommended for all students and may be required for some programs of study.

Advisors can assist you in choosing the courses that will fit your academic goals and help you develop an academic plan that will keep you on track for graduation. There are also academic advisors for specified academic programs such as nursing, dental hygiene, or some business career options.

The Advisement Center offers walk-ins, group sessions, and appointments. Learn more at their website or call them at 480-461-7222.

Career Counseling:

Explore your interests and talents and let us help you help you find out what program is right for you.

You can receive individualized assistance with setting goals and exploring careers, or enroll in a course specifically designed to help you discover your talents, set your goals, and make your decisions.
