Definitions

Course:

All courses have eight common course elements which include prefix, number, title, description, credits, prerequisites/corequisites, competencies and content outlines. Degree:

A transfer or two-year degree (AAS) completes the two year course of study in a specific occupational field and can allow the recipient to transfer into any Arizona State University for continuation of a four year (Bachelors) degree. More on degrees on the District website.

Program:

A group of courses and other requirements that, when completed, satisfy the requirements for an occupational or academic degree or certificate. More on programs on the District website.
