Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services at Mesa Community College offers a variety of services designed to meet the academic needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.
To request Disability Services, you must complete the Student Contract and the Student Contact forms and submit them to DRS prior to requesting accommodations. No services will be provided without these forms.
Some of the following forms may be submitted online. If you prefer, you may use other options. To print these forms you will need the Adobe acrobat reader which is a free plugin available from the Adobe website.
Request an Interpreter for your class.
Request a CART Service.
Inform Disability Resources & Services of your schedule change.
Request a test accommodation.
Provide Disability Resources & Services your contact information for interpreting services.
Acknowledgement that you have read the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Student Handbook and agree to the terms and conditions.
Report an Interpreter no-show.
Upon request, we provide sign language interpreting or computer assisted real-time translation (CART) services for qualified students. Videophones are located at Southern/Dobson and Red Mountain libraries for student use.
