Welcome
to the Mesa Community College Welding Program. I'm Rod Hammil, the program
director. We have assembled what we think is the best structural welding (arc) military specification (tig) and sculptural welding program anywhere.
Welding Technology is a comprehensive program of studies designed to provide skill development opportunities in oxyacetylene (gas) and electric (arc)(mig) welding. Classes are conducted in laboratories that are equipped with modern industrial welding equipment, and skills development opportunities are afforded in advanced welding techniques utilizing tig and mig machines. The optional certificates provide a stepped path leading to the AAS degree and/or certificates/certifications.
This page is a starting point for gathering WLD information and getting registered for class. At MCC we can do all the
"paperwork" online if you wish.
I would recommend you read our FAQs
[frequently asked questions] for answers to questions you may
have about Welding in general, and our program,
in particular.
