Jeff Freundlich and David Hilker, of Wild Whirled Music, have been writing, recording and licensing music for decades. They have placed music in hundreds of films, television shows and advertising outlets. Recent film and TV placements include The Grey, Mad Men, True Blood, Damages, and Empire Falls. Their advertising clients include: ESPN, Coca-Cola, BMW, Gucci, Levis, Hewlett-Packard, and many other Fortune 500 companies. Jeff and David will be speaking to MCC Music Business students about how to get started in music licensing and the critical tools needed to develop a deep and persistent client base for music placements. Entertainment marketing specialist and owner of InSight Management, Maria Bruner has been in the music business industry for over 20 years. Her client list includes such diverse artists as Eric Clapton, Tony LaRussa and Yo Gabba Gabba. Maria will discuss marketing in the music industry from several vantage points including how to develop a successful and comprehensive marketing campaign for an album release or concert tour.

Randy Spencer has been in the industry for many years in the capacity of journalist, A&R executive, manager and publisher, to name a few. He currently works as a consulting A&R exec, music publisher, and music supervisor and places music with the top advertising agencies and brands in the U.S and Abroad. DJ Pickster One (Dustry Hickman) is a full-time DJ, Producer and Promoter and has been building award-winning remixes for over 13 years. He has toured in the U.S. and Abroad and was recently awarded best DJ by the Phoenix New Times. Dusty will discuss and demonstrate current turntablism techniques.

James Campbell has been a Live DJ for over 10 years. He specializes in hard electro, house, and fidget and currently spins on Fridays at Bar Smith for Sticky Fingers in Phoenix. He has recently paired with Aaron Olmstead to form the DJ/Visual Collaborative, 2ToneDisco. James will give students the inside track on how to get started in the Live DJ market and how to cultivate a unique approach to live performance techniques that will result in consistent bookings.

Clarke will speak about his start in the music business industry and how he developed his highly successful career as a recording engineer.
