Advisement

All students interested in persuing a Music major should seek advisement prior to registering for classes.

All NEW students (except for Audio Production Technologies majors) should complete the theory placement test online and the skills assessment tests at the Testing Center prior to calling for an appointment. During the summer, all inquiries should be directed to:

Tutoring

College provided tutoring services are available for music classes (primarily Music Theory and Aural Perception) during the Spring and Fall semesters at no charge. Students are allowed 1/2 hour per music class each week.

Hours vary with the individual tutors between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. ONLY. A sign up sheet located in the music building - MU 43 on the office window of MU 7.

Students seeking tutoring are responsible for signing up, showing up or cancelling any scheduled session. Please use this service responsibly.
