What is a Chat?

intr.v. chat•ted, chat•ting, chats -- A CHAT is a form of interactive online communication that enables users to have real-time conversations with other people who are also online. Remember to keep personal information private - a CHAT is a public forum and not the place to share your social security number, student ID number, address or telephone number!
