Notice: Fingerprint Clearance
Several EDU, CFS, EED, ECH and MAT156 & 157 courses include field experience with children, often requiring fingerprint clearance. Education majors are strongly encouraged to obtain a plastic, Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Department of Public Safety (DPS) fingerprint clearance card as if they are school employees. It can take several weeks to obtain, so begin the process early. IVP cards are valid for six years. For more information about fingerprinting, see www.cwsoa.com.
