Credit by Evaluation, Course Substitutions, Credit by Examination

If you are a professional firefighter and wish to have professional training evaluated for college credit, you must provide copies of official training documentation or official training transcript outlining contact hours and course content. Bring copies of the documentation to the Fire Science/EMT Administrative Office at the MCC Down Town Center.

If you are a transfer student and wish to have other college Fire Science or EMT courses substituted, you must provide a copy of the unofficial transcript, as well as copies of the course curriculum and objectives. Please have your official.

To initiate a credit by evaluation, course substitution, or credit by examination, you will need to pick up and complete forms at the Fire Science/EMT front desk located at the Down Town Center, 145 N. Centennial Way Mesa, AZ 85201.Forms and documentation will be evaluated by the Department Chair.
