Application Procedure:

For complete admission information to enter the Dental Hygiene Program at Mesa Community College contact an Academic Advisor. Each year, applications are available in October.

1. Click here to obtain an application for the Dental Hygiene Program.

   For more information, contact an Academic Advisor. Their office hours are 8:00am - 7:00pm, Monday - Thursday, and 8:00am - 5:00pm on Fridays, except summer when the campus is closed on Fridays. Academic Advisors are available on a walk in basis only.

2. Submit to the Mesa Community College at Red Mountain Enrollment Services as listed in the Application Packet:
   • Mesa Community College Student Information Form, if not currently enrolled
   • Official college/university transcripts
   • Written request for official transcript evaluation, if necessary (credits earned outside of MCCCD)
     
     
3. Submit the completed Dental Hygiene Application packet to Mesa Community College at Red Mountain, Enrollment Services:
   • Dental Hygiene application
   • Employer's Reference Form
   • Dental Experience Verification Form
   • Documentation of ASSET test scores if "Exempt" from CRE 101 - Critical and Evaluative Reading
   • Copy (front/back) of Fingerprint Clearance Card (FCC) from Arizona Department of Public Safety. - This is Mandatory - The Application process for the fingerprint card can take up to 8 weeks. Please get this completed as soon as possible. - Contact Alyne Lijewski 480-654-7221 or DPS 602-223-2279 for a FCC Application.
     
     
4. Program prerequisites must be completed prior to application.

Program Costs:

An estimate of expenses relating to the Dental Hygiene Program is listed on the Estimated Student Expense form. Students must purchase an Instrument and Supply kit and additional Dental Hygiene course fees may apply.
