Admissions Criteria:
Admissions criteria and prerequisite courses are subject to change without notice. All waivers must be submitted to the MCC Office of Admissions.
Candidates for admission to the Dental Hygiene Program must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a High School diploma or GED
- Minimum overall GPA for prerequisite coursework (CRE101 and HCC courses not included) is 3.0
- Minimum GPA of 3.25 in prerequisite science courses
- 40 hours of observation or experience in the dental field
- Possess a current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
