A US Navy veteran, Elliot has worked in the Maricopa District for 10 years. He previously worked for Carantin & Co, a Business to Business direct marketing firm based in Phoenix, and has been running his own Web-based consulting business for the past five years.

A Chicago native, Elliot earned a BS in Business Information Systems and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He enjoys sports, computing and being a Web Master. He is active as a member of ToastMasters and volunteers his time as a speaker in the community. Elliot is a magician and loves to entertain.

Elliot says that Egypt is the most interesting place he has ever visited. When asked about his plans for 5 to 10 years from now, he indicated he hopes to be a full-time residential faculty member without the "OYO" at the end. What Elliot likes about MCC is "the people". He likes how everyone has treated him as a colleague from the start.
