Mesa Community College

A native of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Diana earned her Masters in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University in Orange, CA. She has taught for Pierce College in Lakewood, WA where she was awarded the "Outstanding Educator of the Year 2006". As a current small business owner, Diana is a marketing consultant in nutraceuticals for physicians.

Diana has an interest in personality temperament and emotional intelligence and how these contribute to building competencies in organizations. That interest led her to obtain the Assess Certification and she has been both an EQ Coach and a True Colors Trainer. Her current or former memberships include: American Management Association, American Marketing Association, Emotional Intelligence Consortium, Association for Experiential Education, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, Medical Group Management Association, and International Business Educators Association.

Diana enjoys family activities, hiking, reading, ballet and traveling. When asked the most interesting place she has ever visited, she listed three: the country of Liechtentien, Chichen Itza (Yucatan, Mexico), and Jakarta, Indonesia. In her spare time, Diana has been known to volunteer for the Red Cross, Girl Scouts, Student Association Counsel, as the Seoul American Women's Club President, and for the Army Officer's Wives Club. Surprisingly, Diana once worked for the Korean Government Secret Service.

When asked what she hopes to be doing in the future besides teaching at MCC, Diana says she hopes to climb MachuPichu in the next 3 to 5 years, and within 10 years take a Caribbean Cruise with all of her family including children and grandchildren.

Diana's husband, Thomas, works for the Federal Marshal Service. They have three daughters: Monica (30), Karla (28) and Emily (23), and three sons: Joseph (27, currently attending MCC), James (24, currently serving in the US Navy), and John (17). They have one grandson from Monica (Lincoln, 2) and make their home in Mesa.
