Jessica Bradford

Jessica Bradford Jessica Bradford is an Event Planner at the Mesa Community College downtown campus on Centennial Way. She serves the Network Academy and the Business & Industry Institute, as well as the overall Department of Business and Information Systems, on various events and projects.

In her fifth year at MCC, Jessica is originally from Sandy, Utah. She worked in several retail jobs before joining the MCC team. Jessica has been in charge of planning the highly successful "Girls 'N I.T." event for the past three years. She is looking forward to another great program on April 24, 2009 at the Red Mountain campus.

When asked the most interesting place she has ever been, she mentioned that after graduating from high school, her mom took Jessica and her brother to Florida where they visited Disney World and then took a tour up the Florida coast to see St. Augustine, the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the United States, founded in 1565. While there, they got to visit the famous St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Jessica really likes to sing. She says she has been singing ever since she could talk, including in many school and church choirs. In her youth, Jessica worked at a drag racing strip and even got to sing the National Anthem at a drag race when she was only 14. She is currently active in her church choir and helps with summer camps. She also likes to scrapbook and to do other crafts, and she really enjoys playing "World of Warcraft".

The thing Jessica likes most about MCC is the "small family setting" that she works in. She says she would not change a thing, and loves being able to help the downtown students. "It is a great joy to see them succeed", she says.

Asked about the next 5 to 10 years, Jessica said she wants to travel more and eventually start a family. She hopes to see a couple of kids on her future. Jessica and her husband Andrew make their home in Mesa.
