The Les Swan Memorial Business Scholarship
offered by the Business and Information Systems Department
was established by the Swan family. Les Swan was a former faculty member of the department.
The intent of this scholarship is to assist students with a small and immediate need which may prevent them from continuing with their coursework. Students must contact their instructor, and the instructor will submit the request using an established procedure (see department chair). General Requirements: The need must be related to a course the student is enrolled in and the course must be a MCC Business and Information Systems Department course. Other MCC Scholarships: Mesa Community College uses an online application process to select students for many other scholarships. Applications are scored by an on-site scholarship committee made up of faculty and staff. The online application is available once a year usually between January and March. Scholarship Donors: Mesa Community College provides education and opportunities to thousands of individuals in our community.
