RDG 100 College Study Skills

Students: IMPORTANT:  READ THIS IF YOU NEED TO TAKE RDG 091

DID YOU KNOW… MCC students who need to take RDG091 will be allowed to take RDG100 as a CO-ENROLLED class?

Learn your reading skills while you learn the content from another course.

Here’s how it works:

What YOU do:

  • Sign up for a class you need for your program:  SOC101, PSY101, COM100, PHI101 or any introductory class in another department (that uses a textbook)
  • Sign up for a RDG100 class
    • an adviser can get you in,
    • or come to the Reading Department, AD42, and we will give you an access code to register

What WE do

  • Teach you the skills to be successful readers of college level textbooks
  • Allow you to practice those skills using THE TEXTBOOK FOR YOUR OTHER CLASS

Reading Department’s Goal:  to help you be successful in the other class
