The Teachers of Language Learners Learning Community (TL3C) aims to 1. increase the pool of highly prepared teachers of language learners (TLLs), and 2. provide support for TLLs in various programs at local Title I schools. Project goals are carried out through a structured teacher preparation program, partnerships and trainings with dual language schools, college faculty trainings, STEM clubs and camps, summer professional development institutes, and the development of the larger TL3C Consortium. This project is funded by the USDoE as a 5-year professional development grant, however, our efforts include creating a sustainable model beyond grant-funded years.
