TL3C

Thank you to all those who led and participated in the 2012-2017 Teachers of Language Learners Learning Community (TL3C) Project funded by a USDoE professional development grant to:

  1. increase the pool of highly prepared teachers of language learners (TLLs), and
  2. provide support for TLLs in various programs at local Title I schools.

Project goals were carried out through a structured teacher preparation program, partnerships and trainings with dual language schools, college faculty trainings, STEM clubs and camps, professional development institutes, and the development of the larger TL3C Consortium.

Special thanks to TL3C directors Karen Guerrero, Megan Garvy and Amy Markos, as well as MCC Education Studies Department Chairs Nora Amavisca Reyes and Annapurna Ganesh.
