Meet with the dedicated Education Advisor to help ensure your success as a pre-service teacher education major. The advisor can:
- Interpret placement test scores
- Perform an unofficial transcript evaluation
- Clarify degree requirements; including university transfer requirements
- Set up a personalized graduation plan
- Confirm transfer eligibility
- Monitor academic progress semester by semester
- Provide scholarship information and deadlines
Student Responsibilities:
- Touch base with an advisor every semester to keep on track
- Keep copies of curriculum check sheets and unofficial transcripts
- Request official transcripts from previous colleges to be sent to the Records Office for official evaluation
- Prepare questions to ask during advisor appointments
- Register early to create a perfect class schedule
- Pay attention to deadlines for refunds; drop/add; withdrawal; and graduation application dates
