Media Relations

Media Relations serves as MCC's communication hub to the external community. The Media Relations staff builds relationships within the college community to maintain a working knowledge of MCC's programs and achievements to effectively relay information to appropriate print, broadcast and online media outlets.

Media outreach is accomplished by promoting newsworthy stories through the distribution of news releases, media alerts, public service announcements, fact sheets and calendar announcements to local and national media sources. The staff also is continually strengthening relationships with reporters, editors and producers.

The Media Relations staff also supports MCC’s facebook, Twitter and YouTube sites.
