Electronic Marquees

The marquee at the Southern and Dobson campus is located on Dobson Road adjacent to the Library. The Red Mountain marquee is on Power Road north of McKellips.

Types of information that will be posted

• MCC events, activities, programs/career pathways, or services that are open to the public and/or are sponsored by MCC.
• Congratulatory messages for college-wide outstanding achievements.
• Public service announcements that affect the surrounding community.

Submission Guidelines

• Messages must be submitted to the Office of Institutional Advancement two weeks prior to posting date via email to:
• Southern and Dobson: jenner@mesacc.edu
• Red Mountain: cheryl.hardt@mcmail.maricopa.edu
• Individuals who submit messages are responsible for content and must alert the IA staff at 480-461-7794 when changes in the time or date of an event occur.
• Marquee messages will be updated every Tuesday and Friday.

The marquee may not be used for advertising individual classes or community public events that are not affiliated with the college. IA reserves the right to edit submissions for length, punctuation and formatting.

Submission Guidelines

Southern and Dobson Campus

• Messages must be submitted to the Office of Institutional Advancement two (2) weeks prior to posting date via email to jenner@mesacc.edu.
• Individuals who submit messages are responsible for content and must alert IA staff when changes in the time or date of an event occur.
• Send text for messages in one of these formats: doc, jpg, or PowerPoint.  When time permits, submissions will be converted to a video format. 
• Messages will be updated weekly.

We reserve the right to edit submissions for length, punctuation and formatting.

Red Mountain Campus

• Messages for the Red Mountain campus must be submitted to Media services via email at rmmediaservices@mcmail.maricopa.edu 
• Messages will be updated Thursdays and/or Fridays.
• Please send final artwork for message in one of these formats: jpg or PowerPoint slide with no animations.

Intranet

The MCC Intranet serves as a communications center for employees, centralizing news and information about the college, employee awards and recognition, and resources to perform job duties. You can access the Intranet by bookmarking http://intranet.mesacc.edu or by clicking the "Intranet" link at the bottom of the MCC home page.  A college-wide email is sent out twice a week notifying employees of new items posted to the Intranet.

The Intranet

• Replaces or merges websites formerly maintained by Institutional Advancement (Bulletin, SnapShot),
• Incorporates links to resource websites (MCC Employee Resources, College Calendars),
• Provides quick links to frequently used business tools (HRMS, my.maricopa.edu, SIS, etc.),
• Provides an alternative to college-wide email.

All employees are encouraged to contribute to the Intranet.  Instructions on how to post information are available through the Help Quick Link or by contacting the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Event Calendar

The MCC Event Calendar may not be used for advertising campus classes or advertising community public events that are not affiliated with the college or college facility space. IA reserves the right to edit submissions for length, punctuation and formatting. Events that do not meet the criteria stated below will not be posted.

An event will be posted to the Mesa Community College Event Calendar if your event:

• Supports events and activities sponsored by MCC, its programs, services, and/or recognized clubs
• Conveys general information about your event and the event is open to the public

To submit an event for the Event Calendar please include the following:

Any other details you'd like mentioned about this event? Is there a website with additional information that would be useful to provide? Is the event only open to a specific campus group, or can anyone attend?
