Sasan Poureetezadi

Sasan Poureetezadi was Director of Computer Services for the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. His responsibilities included strategic planning, implementation and stewardship of information technology services at main and downtown campuses. During his tenure at Cronkite, Poureetezadi was instrumental in the development and deployment of multiple IT projects that included a new state-of-the-art journalism complex in downtown Phoenix.
Poureetezadi's work has been chronicled in several case studies by the likes of Apple, Vicom, Parallels, Echo360 and eCampus News. Actively involved in various technology-based organizations, he has conducted numerous presentations on a variety of information technology topics and solutions. Before joining the Cronkite School, he served as computer learning and IT director at the Boys & Girls Clubs where he led an organization-wide initiative to develop a computer learning and lab program.
Poureetezadi has over 15 years of IT leadership and teaching experience at the university and community college level. He earned a B.S. in Sociology from Arizona State University and a M.Ed. in Community College Education from Northern Arizona University.
